Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DailyFaily Publisher handles information when independent creators connect a TikTok account and submit videos.
1. Service
DailyFaily Publisher is a web-based content scheduling platform that enables independent creators to prepare original videos and explicitly submit approved content through TikTok’s Content Posting API.
2. Information processed
We process only information needed to provide publishing:
- TikTok Open ID, display name, avatar, and OAuth credentials.
- Videos and captions selected by the creator.
- Privacy, interaction, AI-generated, and commercial-content settings.
- Technical submission status and limited security logs.
3. Purpose
Information is used to authenticate the creator, display account and posting choices, transmit an explicitly approved publishing request, secure the service, and answer support requests. Processing occurs at the creator’s request and with consent granted through TikTok OAuth.
4. TikTok authorization
DailyFaily requests user.info.basic to obtain the connected creator’s Open ID, display name, and avatar, and video.publish to perform user-authorized Direct Posts. TikTok controls the authorization screen. We never request a TikTok password. Although TikTok lists video.upload as included with the Content Posting API product, DailyFaily does not request that scope during OAuth and does not use TikTok’s draft-upload endpoint. Authorization may be revoked through TikTok or by disconnecting the account in DailyFaily.
5. Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials and account identifiers are retained only for the active connected session and are deleted when the account is disconnected or upon a verified deletion request. Uploaded files are used for the requested transfer and are not kept longer than operationally necessary.
6. Sharing
Information is transmitted to TikTok and may be processed by hosting, database, and workflow providers solely to operate DailyFaily. We do not sell personal data, create advertising profiles, or share data with data brokers.
7. Security
We use encrypted transport, access controls, protected credentials, least-privilege permissions, and restricted operational access. No storage or transmission method is completely risk-free.
8. Creator choices
Creators may disconnect TikTok, revoke authorization, request access, correction, or deletion, and stop using the service. Disconnecting prevents future submissions but does not remove content already delivered to TikTok.
9. Children
DailyFaily is intended for creators legally able to authorize a TikTok account and is not directed to children below the applicable digital-consent age.
